gMaze Browser Games
Once upon a time, long, long ago, BIGs were written using Perl, PHP, Javascript, or plain HTML. Now we have Flash. Unless you are a web noob, you are already quite familiar with the zillions of flash games currently avaiable in every corner of the internet.
So what's the difference between your standard flash game and a gMaze browser interactive game? gMaze games are written by real people not fleeks (flash geek, a.k.a. Flash programmer). Hey, I is a fleek so don't get your you-know-whats all in a bunch. There's nothing wrong with games written by flash programmers. Other than the fact that the creative process is totally dependent upon the availability of a programmer to implement. What if a literary or other creative type person wants to put forth a game and they don't happen to have access to a flash programmer or the mega-bucks it can cost to keep one in Jolt cola and take-out?
That's where the gMaze engine comes in. Now these creative types can make full-fledged Flash games using a graphics program and a text editor. No need to get Adobe CS3 or hire a programmer. This gives the public access to a new generation of games -- albeit retro.
Yes, gMaze games are unashamedly retro. If you don't know what it's like to get to the end of the game to suddenly realize you forgot to "pickup" the pocket lint and mail, then you just haven't lived. Or, at least you haven't played "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" text adventure game. gMaze interactive games are fundamentally text games -- with graphics and sound added to enhance the experience.
gMaze Browswer Interactive Games can be played using nothing more than
your browser enhanced with the Adobe Flash Player. See link below, if you
need to upgrade your Flash Player.

B.I.G.'s are designed to be cheap and easy to create, and to play. Making
the creation of browser interactive games available to a wider audience of
creative types, and making the play of browser interactive games available
to a wider audience of players.
If your computer has Flash Player 9 or later installed, then
you should be ready to roll. Have fun!
